its popular here in Australia, but not my style and the El Pacifico beers i had in San Diego were worse than that ha ha ...give me Tasmanian beers like James Boag, Cascade, or the woonderful Belgian Beer Stella Artios

Corna = piss water... Promo is good and sure Jimmy Bufett has had an influence on its success. Scotch is my drink. If I had to drink a beer it would be Busch or Bud or PBR.

Actually, REAL Corona (as in the stuff they sell/serve in Mexico) is really pretty good. The imported version (the stuff you buy in the US and elsewhere) isn't nearly as good as the Mexican version.

Nope.

First, it's pasteurized.

Second, It's served in a clear bottle... when means that the sun's UV rays will most likely hit the beer en route to its destination, thereby skunking the beer.

The marketing genius that came up with the lime-in-the-Corona, solved the problem of the skunk taste, and gave the beer a gimmick - he deserves every cent he's ever gotten in life, however much that might be.

The beer, however... is still piss, imho.

Take it or leave it... that's the point of view from a certified beer judge and past GABF-winning brewer.

Corona isn't as bad as people try to say it is. Bad beer is the Dominican beer called Presidente. Also any domestic beer is shit.
