Suggest Reading the A+ Book. You can buy one online at Amazon.Originally posted by Deputy Chief Commandhow to find it ? in the pc ? I am stupid I know , I opened the thing , now ,where is the HD situated ?pls help ,lol
If you're HD is cooked and you don't know what it looks like, how will you fix your PC. It will need a software rebuild when you replace it.
You're prolly in over your head. Just take to a shop and have them fix it or buy a new computer.Comment

Good attitude! You gotta start somewhere and if you don't succeed, then well, you probably learned something.
Once I learned that you shouldn't talk on the phone, IM with 3 people and build a PC at the same time. Or at least I shouldn't.
It took me 30 minutes after I hung up the phone to realize that the reason the PC wouldn't even try to boot was because in my lack of paying attention, I had switch the wires for the reset and power buttons.
Good times...Comment

lol, man take it to a PC repair shop, if you don't know what a HD looks like I wouldn't trust your judgment when you say that it crashed ;)
many HDs crash when they're almost full, therefore it is a good idea to always have some free space on your HDs, also if you hear a funny noise and it is not one of your fans, yuo know that something not so good is about to happenComment
