    GGWCASH Low Productivity Email - Anybody Else Get This From Them?

    Got this email from GGWCASH today. Anybody else been hit up with this?



    Dear Webmaster:

    Please be advised that the vast majority of your sign-ups have been canceling within the first 3 days of their memberships. This cancellation rate is well below our acceptable productivity levels. Your revenues-due is not in jeopardy and will be paid, but changes are needed.

    Please reply with an explanation of how you are promoting GGW. We do want you to be successful with the program and perhaps certain advertising modifications may correct the problem.

          ever seen their members area? is there a reason on their end people aren't sticking around? if not, it might be time to work on your traffic...is it tgp traffic or something?

                      Jace - I think they've sent this email out to a SHITLOAD of affiliates. I got the email and I can tell you that my traffic rebills nicely on other programs. I've seen in the members of GGW and well there's alot but there's not. I personally can't find where updates are if any have been made ever. The pic quality is appaulling at best.

                      I don't know about them being all that willing to 'work' with people. They asked for an *explanation*. I talked to their aff rep and I got the impression that alot of emails had been sent out. There are NO TOS or anything at all on the site with respect to conversions to full membership.

                      Personally i'm willing to work with them BUT I do think it's an internal problem rather than an affiliate problem. I think they should have a look at how many affiliates this email has been sent out too (that is if they already have not).

                      Also the email IMO was pretty damn rude and focusing the problem on the affiliate. Not real happy at the treatment thus far.

                          oh wow, if the quality of the members area is anything like you say, I think the fault of members not carrying over to full is not the affiliates fault

                          it never ceases to amaze me the amount of shitty members areas out there...members areas are SOOOOO god damn easy to create, and to create one that surfers like and is easily navigated is not a hard task

                          and you would think with all the GGW videos being also on high quality dvd's, that the quality of the pics and vids in there would be at least dvd quality

                                  The screen caps are absolutely shithouse! The video quality isn't all that great either. Having said that, I think the product is selling very well (initial sales anyways) purely because of the reputation it has buit up for itself. Perhaps a little more thought needs to go into the web side of things?

                                  If they film in HD then I think they should seriously think about increasing the quality of the movies they have online along with the screencaps. Most screen caps suck on serious ASS!

                                                              I think that a program's productivity has nothing at all to do with how the webmaster sends its clicks, it has to do with the content that they have, the customer service that they offer, and mostly with how accurate the members area is to what they offered in the tour.

                                                                  Then I tried to cancel.

Not having seen the members area I don't know if the tour promises are made in the members area but a few things jump out at me. First the tour claims members will have access to "exclusive clips". Maybe some of these "exclusive clips" are taken from one of the many DVDs that some members may have already seen.

                                                                          It also claims it is "updated every day" and "DVD quality video" yet someone wrote above he could not find the updates and the video quality was not great. If they truly update everyday and have DVD quality videos, why not add a section on the tour that shows a sample DVD quality video added everyday and definetely make it easy to find full versions of such in the members area.

                                                                                      I didn't get the email nor have I seen the member's area of the site so I can't say what it is like. However, I think what they may be doing is making sure that people aren't running one of those sites that tells the surfers to buy a trial join, download all the stuff from the sites and then cancel before the rebill. If someone is doing that type of thing (or if they are promising something that the site doesn't have) then I think GGW should be able to either remove you from the program or switch you to partnership payouts. But if you are using normal stuff like thier banners, hosted galleries and basic/typical marketing then they need to make sure that the surfer gets what the tour promises and has a decent amount of content.

Reena and Syl do most of the heavy lifting on the boards tho, so you've probably seen them posting a whole lot more than me... Anyway, regarding the productivity notices and the comments here...

                                                                                          We have been evaluating traffic since we launched in the affiliate marketplace back in feb. We have lots of webmasters who convert really well with the the initial sale as well as from the trial to full membership. But, as with ALL pay per sale programs there are a handful of accounts and/or traffic sources that don't convert well. Most of the time it's just that the traffic doesn't match up that well with the product. Occasionally we get WM's who over promise... But anyone who understands the affiliate model knows how this works.

                                                                                          So we've identified a very small group of accounts that have really poor trial conversion rates and we need to work with them to improve the rates, or switch them over to a rev share program or a full price only tour. We can't just lose money, the program will fall apart and then all our webmasters, even the ones with the good converting traffic will be out of luck..

                                                                                          Regarding the statement that a shit load of these notices went out... I can tell you it was less than 10 because I reviewed and approved the list personally.

                                                                                          Regarding updates... The top right hand corner of the members area index page is dedicated to the latest updates, which are daily.....

                                                                                          Regarding the rest of the content... Screen caps aren't ideal and we have a shitload of new material that is in process from the spring break activities from the past couple of months. But more important that what we have or what we don't have with content is the fact that we have MANY accounts that convert from the trial just fine. Including accounts that promote on World Sex and The Hun. If the members area was truly bad none of the traffic would convert...

                                                                                          So, apoologies if the notices come as a shock or they've created any anxiety... But running a successful profitable program is our goal, which benefits all of you. We want to be around for the long term, as I'm sure all of you do....

                                                                                          Don't panic and get all bent out of shape, just work with our account reps to see what can be done to improve your numbers. We didn't hold back any money, and we're not kicking anyone out of the program... So let's focus on making some money together....

                                                                                              It's just the way it is with PPS, I'm sure they'd still take your traffic on a revshare basis.

                                                                                                  The GGW members area offers both softcore flashing stuff and more hardcore girl on girl stuff... So I dont think that would be the problem. Although one thing that I think they could improve on is if they archived the old "web exclusive" content instead of removing it when they add in the new stuff.

We have discussed the plug ins, but we need a little bigger archive of some of the exclusives before we're ready. We'll keep everyone posted about it at www.ggwcash.com.... The GGW camera crews were out in force this past spring so we're processing tons of footage and pics now. Should have some killer new material for everyone soon.

                                                                                                              You'd be surprised how many hits we get on the Banned series... It's the train wreck that you can't turn away from. Definitely alternative material for this site

                                                                                                                      I don't promote GGW, so I am not going to take sides one way or the other. However, there are a few things that I don't understand about GGWCash's methods in this matter. First and foremost: If there were less than 10 accounts that caused your concern, why not just check out the referring URL yourselves and see just what it is that they are promising before sending out the warning emails?

                                                                                                                              Any chance of making the members area videos a little higher resolution? The tour says dvd quality but the members area videos look about 352x240.. that might be causing low retention as well.

                                                                                                                              Another suggestion would be to draw more attention to the "web exclusives" area, which IMO is the best part of the members area. I am using banners, standard text links, FHGs, and some of my own picture galleries. I am not doing anything misleading at all.

                                                                                                                                                          My traffic is mostly very niche appropriate to GGW. My sites are www.bikinipartygirls.com, www.bikinidevil.com, www.partygirlzone.com. I do have text links on my teen and general hardcore sites, but the majority of traffic is from these three sites.

                                                                                                                                                          I have been in the biz since 1997 and never been warned or canceled by any program, so this just seemed weird to me.

PPS means you're going to make big profit on a certain % of webmasters and take a loss on others.

Then again...I just made a bunch of cash in the last week from GGW. Just a simple text link "Girls Gone Wild" Nothing else. No pics, no vids, no other text, no fuck all...Just the name.
