The Atlanta Forum

Before I start, I want to thank first and foremost Kathi Stout from National Net. I don't think I could have made it through the whole process without her assistance, before, during, and after the show. We are a proud sponsor of the 2008 Atlanta Forum, and will continue to be for life. The weather was absolutely fantastic, I took a nap in my cabana, and maybe next year we can have hammocks.

Alot of talk about the size of the show, and I want to make one salient point. Everyone I talked too was a decision maker. I'd rather have quality over quantity at any show I go to, and more so for any show I sponsor. I've been in the game over a decade now, and deals you made in one show can take up to a year to finalize. It just happens. Once you get back to your office, the daily grind kicks back in, and it just becomes another project for you to finish. I know I have a long list on my whiteboard of them. I had ample time to work out the issues I have with Python on one of our projects, with Pimp Mansion over believe it or not, lap dances at the Oasis, to having a quite 15 minutes with Sweet T, and many others. I had one instance of scheduling overlap with Xbiz and Netbilling. Which is something that happens quite frequently at the larger shows. Tony Morgan exceeded the vision he told me earlier in the year imho. Well done old friend! Well done indeed!

The W Hotel. I always have a problem with Security, anywhere I go. I don't know what it is, I'm pretty laid back. So it was a welcome surprise to have zero issues at all with NATNET's Security team, led by Bubba. I don't know of anyone having an issue, there were few idiots, every show has them, but your usual dick head security was not present, and to a man, all cordial and helpful. The Hotel staff bent over backwards for us. From Andrew, the main Bartender to Yannah at the front desk. We were all treated very well, and the 24 hour snack bar, thank you very very very much!

Every part of the show was done in style. From the belly flop contest we had at BOSBUCKS pool party, to all of the seminars, and parties. My favorite, and one not soon forgotten is Saturday night. JayD from Crazyshit.com took us out to an Atlanta Restaurant across the street from Opera, where we would be treated to a VIP Club experience that I don't know can ever be beat.

Thank you to everyone that made this experience an excellent one. It's back to the grind, and finishing up projects.

See you all next year!
