true, I use my version of the software, but i went on a buying spree a couple years ago and forgot to add a lot of domains to my nameservers. from now on, I'm going to search my portfolio before going to whois.

Both my husband and I buy domains, so once in a while when I am looking through our domain list I spot a couple great ones he picked up and either neglected to tell me, or I wasn't paying attention when he told me lol

I was searching whois for domains and kept coming up empty. Then when I looked at the whois results... it was owned by ME.

mixed blessing, because the domain was never added to my server and I've possibly lost quite a bit of revenue, but finding it again was like a breathe of fresh air.

I think it's a kickass domain, glad I remembered before it expired.

I think the one I use besides the xls spreadsheets is the MyDomainPortfolio put out by the dn forum guys - works pretty easy and is still free with a plat lifetime membership

lol, i had a bad habbit of that and lost a few good domains, lucky for me no one grabbed the so i just re registered most, now adays when i buy domains i point them to my server and add them to my server right away, i have a nice pageholder so while its sitting around waiting to be developed it will grab a bit of traffic.
