Way back in the days of Randy Rhoads, Ozzy played a concert for (or sponsored by) some British radio program called something like The King Biscuit Flower Hour or some crazy shit like that. The solo by RR, captured in that concert, on "Over the Mountain," in my opinion, is the most unbelievable solo in the history of the guitar (yes, I heard it back in the day -- I am THAT old).
If anyone can find it it's a guitarists wet dream

Please dont try and convince these guys Randy Rhoads was even good LOL I am sure he wll be lumped into the "he plays too fast" crowd
If its not on some 70s radio station that plays Zeppelin all damn day, they cant "hum" along to it... people like Randy blow away all this stuff, classic rock solos cant even compare
just because its too fast for them, they dont feel it has "emotion" etc...
as been said, guitarists may know it, but if the general population cant "air guitar" alongside it, its not "solo" enough or somethin
