Lets say you have a site of about 200 pages, and you dont change the content but move it around every few days... Do SE's see this as updates? Or does your site gets banned by them because they see it as 'fake updates'?

Sure it see's it as page updates, however yout site is now worthless as every page has different results over time, thus your page is marked crap... and you wont get shit... search engines work on page content, update, links in, title, and traffic, links out, If you change the pages around and you are screwing any shot of ever getting any keyword relvancy ever, it's like banning yourselfComment

ok, heres the thing.. search engines dont see pictures. You can take the same photo as you have on page 120 and just give it a different name and alt tag on page 121 and its an entirely different page in the eyes of the search engine.Originally posted by nico-t
If you want to see what the search engine spiders see when they come to your site, shell into your server and load up 'lynx' its installed on almost every server I've ever used.. load it up with 'lynx yourdomain.com' and you'll see a pretty close approximation of what a spider gets.
From what it sounds like you're trying to do, a much better strategy would be to use a markov generator script to scrape the copy from your existing pages and reparse it into new keyword rich content and use IP based cloaking to serve those pages to the search engine spiders and galleries to your human visitors.
