And apart from all of that everyone has a different attitude, because one guy is a car freak, the other wants to show off and the third doesnt mind a good car, but ultimately it's one of the things he cares the least about.

Also one person will buy a $120k car the second he can barely affiord the rates for it, the other when he has a few times that amount in the bank and a good growing biz and the third will never do it, or only if he's a true multi millionaire, has a lots of different passive investments, owns already few houses etc.

Not to mention that someone enjoys life by driving expensive cars, while others dedicate their time to some hobbies or travel a lot ( whcih rather also costs $$$$ ).

anyway, Im not even sure why I wrote all this, all of that is quite obvious

he said he has $130k to spend on a car, so I guess he has a nice house, some good investments for life and 130k is what he can afford to invest in a car. Thats why I dont see a logic in investing just 30k and saving 100k, if he doesnt need the money for life.

Porsche Cayman S (what you don't spend can be used for fuel for the rest of the car life, plus some wicked vacations ;) )

Aston Martin V8 Vantage (my dream car ;) and costs around 150.000 euros here plus extras...got to love rippoff car taxes)
