Have you ever actually done a chargeback? It's a total pain in the ass!

I initiated one at the beginning of April or so this year against a webhost that fucked up waaaay more than any host should, and just now finally received a statement from my credit card company that it has finally gone through.

In the past 3 months while this has been going on I've had to fax and mail countless forms, receipts, copies of webpages etc to prove my case, and have been on the phone with at least 5 different people at the cc company.

I just have a hard time imagining very many people going through this much trouble for a $29.95 charge for a site membership, unless they wound up feeling like victims of theft somehow. Is it significantly easier to get a chargeback for smaller purchases like that?

its actually really easy in most cases, they send you a legal form & you sign it

infact its too easy...which is why every now & then people go over 1%
