I guess the broken bones he got were from the plane crash, not the torture.
Either way, it must have sucked to be a prisoner like that. But if you got beat for 6 years I would figure you would be totally devastated from it. The video of him when he got released, he looked pretty good for a guy that was just tortured for 6 years.
