what do you do when your traffic starts going down?

I noticed my traffic is starting to go down.

What do you guys do when that happens? Just try and find better trades? Redesign? You can't redesign your site every month.

What's a good way of finding out what the surfers like and dont like so they'll come back?

I go through each and every link and see which links are sending me traffic and which aren't! Then I tweak them accordingly. I also submit to TGPs and buy traffic to give myself a slight boost when I need it. Also, when I notice a big drop, I try to spend an extra hour per day to solely work on traffic until I'm happy with my numbers again. You can do a million other things, these are just a few.

Yes you can. It can be a big help, or a fucking disaster. Don't fall in love with a layout if you site is built on trades. You have to keep it fresh, and keep the surfers clicking links.
