    what would be a clever 1 word or 2 domain name for a search engine?

                                                                      Truth of the matter is, ANY domain will work. Before Google, the word meant nothing. They branded it and got it to mean something. Same can be done for your domain. Takes money, lots of time and marketing skill that most people lack.

                                                                      Google will fall someday just as Yahoo has and Altavista and Dogpile.
