I had a hummer for a couple weeks (rental) and we were getting pulled over non stop. No way I'l ever buy that

It's a pain to drive a nice car in the South, especially if you are black. If you are black expect to get pulled over 3-4 times a month... if you're lucky. And if you have any tinted windows? Expcet to be pulled over every day... if you're lucky.

I got a Hummer H2. One of the guys on here that I golf with has one (if he wants to identify himself, so be it), and I liked it so much, I traded in my truck.

Yeah, I think Im in for a world of hurt... I drive like a grandma too... really slow.

Wow.
I was speeding (10mph over) on this highway around midnight one night. Everyone was going that speed.

Turns on his lights, I pull over and he immediatly gets in front of me and does a brake turn and blocks the highway. He gets out and screams at another driver to pull off.
It went something like this:

Me: "Hello"
Him: "Are you stupid?"
Him: "License, Registration, Proof of Insurance."
Me: "Sure one sec"
Him: "Hurry up. Please."
Him: "You do realize I could haul your ass off to jail THIS SECOND for what you did!"
Me: "For speeding? I wasn't going tha..."
Him: "For racing your buddy there! You could have killed someone!"
Me: "But sir, I was not rac..."
Him: "Stay here."

15 minutes later he comes back and instructs both me and this unknown driver to get out of our cars. It must have been so blatantly obvious that we didn't know eachother. I'm some fat nerd listening to techno music, and SHE steps out in a full Arabian garb, face covered and all.

Him: "I could haul you BOTH off to jail for racing!"
Him: "YOU! How many drinks did you have tonight?"
Me: "None."
Him: "Are you willing to back that up?"
Me: "Yes"
Him: "Get in your car and stay there! You too!"

This went on for another 20 minutes or so. This guy was just nuts. Eventually he came back from his car and said to me that what I did was VERY stupid but he is in a good mood and will just put down that I was speeding 21mph over. At that point I just agreed to it because I was afraid this guy was going to plant a kilo of coke in my car or something, just because he can.

I didn't go to court and I got a $400 fine and 4 points on my license.

I think that people that don't use the blinker should be sent to jail personally. It's not THAT hard to use it, and it makes the roads safer.

Sent to jail.....lol.

But I *really* do hate when people don't use blinkers, and atleast in finland, my pet peeves really.. it looks like all mercedes-benzs come without blinkers even installed.. heh.

I used to drive a cab, and nothing is as annoying as someone coming infront of you without blinking, or someone putting the breaks on in the middle of the road, and then just turn to some yard or something without blinkers.

blinkers = warning that you're gonna do something.

No Blinker = Jail

Just figured it out, the ticket was driving a vehicle that didn't get 30 mpg...

I swear I am the kind of driver that "normally" uses his blinkers. Just a little to happy with the vehicle and not paying so much attention.

Could be, I get about 10mpg now....lol.

It's actually law in Orange County to NOT use a blinker. It's a county bilaw.

Or so it fucking seems like.
