I just want to see California chew itself off from the Union.

It's pretty clear the American system is a failure.
Time to scrap it and start a new one.
Maybe something like what the Canadians got going on with a parliament.
Seems much more stable than the crazy bat shit that is going on here in America.

I must admit I am losing my faith in the current American government system.

THe media is going to debate retarded children's needs in this election and in a strange way I think they are referring to all the American people this time around. Cuz I know Americans are going to care more about retarded children than Economic Prosperity, and a better standing on the world stage politics and the war.

Supposedly Palin has, like, a 90% approval rating as governor of Alaska, which is unprecedented. People love her ass.

That being said... she's governor of Alaska. Alaska. I can't imagine that Alaska has half the problems the rest of the states do. It's not even a contiguous state. Therefore, governing the place probably isn't too tough.

Bush's approval as Texas Governor was close to that high when he was elected...In fact in the 2 term as governor the joke was "who's the other guy running?" It was that much of a blowout... So just because you can run a state to people's approval doesn't mean you can run the country the same obviously....
