i'd like to say oilers, as i am an oilers fan, but i think the hurricanes will win.
one key thing the hurricanes head coach said was that their players were playing half assed, and resting more than trying to play hard and win it as they knew they were going to go into the 7th most likely. now if that is an excuse or not, who cares. their team has played crappy the past 2 games, not as hard as they usualy skate, so if they have been truely resting than the oilers will have a hard night tonight because the oilers have been playing HARD and i am sure the preassure is on them from the fans.Need marketing? Remember, they were without Doug Weight last 2 games, and his absence left a huge hole in Canes' powerplay. As far as i know he is not expected to play in game 7. Rod Brind'amour had probably the worst game in playoffs on Saturday. Again, the Oilers are more adopted to a long series, and when they won Game 5, they pretty much put a huge question mark to Canes' chances in those finals. Eastern champions arent playing as effective as in the beginning of the series, and Oilers on the other hand just keep playing better. Just look at the Pisani - Peca - Torres line. Torres knocked bodies around in Games 5 and 6, Pisani scored key goals, and Peca was all over Brind'amour.
I think Oilers have a great chance of winning this. If they keep going in 1st period like they did in last 2 games, theyll be fine. This Game Seven is going to be a big battle...
