I actually really like watermelon but again it does not taste the same if it comes from a store. It is not horrid, just not well watermelon either. Sort of how tomatoes really are not tomatoes when bought from the store. Most melons seem to be this way though.
I am of the variety that likes to add small amounts of salt to melons when eating them. It really brings out the flavor much more.
