                                  I don't think it looks bad for a free site; it's a lot better than LiveTeen IMO. Only thing I would do is improve the image quality like Morpheous said, and make a better join page that really sells the site.

                                              Logos should be gif in general, not jpeg. Everything with few color gif, many colors (photos) = jpeg.
