any job that removes you from daily interaction with others from different backgrounds will cause some social problems. if you are a person who works from home or alone your exposure to others is limited even if you go out, hang out, party etc. if you work in an office in the industry most likely the people surrounding you are others with backgrounds in adult or similar.
in mainstream you interact with different demographics, backgrounds...people with a skill set but from different businesses so your work/social interaction is different. it's just different that's all. if you were in any specialized industry it would be the same
web-based adult won't fuck you up as much as being in non-web adult though
