Lets be serious here for a moment. When you're in your mid forties. Talking about things you did as a teenager. One of them being something you did the year after you got out of high school. Are you going to say you "did this after i graduated high school". Or "did this exactly 8 months, twenty days, and seven hours after i graduated high school".
Within a year of graduating high school easily equals after high school graduation.....
