It looks pretty good tho.
It just seems like it should work.
Downloadable for offline reading
Readable on mobile devices - Phones, PDAs, etc
But it seems that there is no success so far with it even with the big guys.

The reason is simple. Try and READ it. You can't. It's appaling for a user experience.
It looks pretty. The page turning is cool for 2 minutes. Then you realise in terms of USABILITY (ie actually reading the bloody thing) it's useless.
If you want something to download, then a PDF would be fine no?
IF you want something that degrades gracefully on mobile devices a page turning flash thing CERTAINLY isn't it.
I am not sure what you are trying to achieve so it's hard to comment. But if your goals are to provide something downloadable and readable offline, that also degrades for mobile, then you are looking at the wrong thing with this!
Remember, this technology has been around for YEARS. Started with (I believe) the Zinio 'magazine' reader at least 10 years ago. Was meant to be the holy grail for offline publishers.
Can you name me just one publisher that has used this model to SUCCESSFULLY move a magazine online? With tangible results? In ten years?
No.
Because it is a shit idea, badly executed.
(btw, I HATE THESE THINGS, you may have noticed!!!)
