                                                                          I do, however, wish that hollywood would take the time to come up with something NEW soon though.

                                                                                              That franchise died with Christopher unfortunately they should have just done a new incarnation.

                                                                                              Smallville had a kick ass cast and I thought Tom Welling and the rest would have translated well to the big screen.

It's always "better" then the first one, but it's the impression that the first movie left you that is important afterall... wich the new tech, everything is possible, wich makes the remakes suck arses.

                                                                                                                                      I watch the original supermans and there's too much cheeky comedy, and static storytelling if you ask me. It's more like an homage for the fans. Which leads me to the conclusion that it was an amazing effects trailer back in the day. Unlike that movie was star wars. A great effects trailer but also a great story.

                                                                                                                                                                  5 years after Superman II would be 1986. Disco was dead for over 6 years by then. Get your decades straight. Disco was 70's mid to late 70's if you want to get technical.
