whats the quickest way to make thumbs for a blog

What's the quickest way to extract and make thumbs out of a FHGs?

I'm not looking for software that can make galleries, I need a software that can allow me to:

    paste in FHG urls
go to each gallery, make 3-4 thumbs from the fhgs

    Using these thumbs for blogs.

It seems very simple, but can't find any software that can do this.

I made a parser in PHP that'd read in the files, verify that I could download one, then resize with gd.

    Simplest and easiest? Probably not.
I no longer represent TrafficGigolos, please contact Justin or Rebecca with any issues.

http://www.jmbsoft.com/ has a free desktop thumb cropper called TGP Cropper used to be on JMBfree.com I think but that url redirects to their main page.

It works great if you can get a copy of it, it's what I use.
In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.

that looks good, I'd probably use that to make manual thumbs, thanks crockett.

So, there's no desktop software that can do it auto?

I guess I should get this custom built then....

Crop them in photoshop and import them. What's quicker (without deluding yourself)?

I here was you are saying, going to the galleries and downloading the pictures and cropping them takes some times. I like to do it that way so I can choose the picture. If you use a posting tool like blogdesk you still have to download the pictures, but you can write the post, crop the pictures and upload in this software. Makes it a shitload easier then trying to do it in Wordpress itself.

i can't see any need to go any faster than cropping and resizing in photoshop. i crop by hand, and run an action to resize and adjust. save, upload. beautiful thumbs.

that's what I've been doing, but I need a better way to scale it, I can get someone to make thumbs at .15-.10 a thumb, but if I can get a program that does it, it would be cheaper in the long run.

if you are on a mac try iResize! It keeps the same dimension of the pic but you can quickly size it how you like it. You can do an individual pic or an entire folder.
