Nope. It was immediately after, and NBC made use of the halftime show to show the festivities at the the GOP convention. It was pretty much force fed, since it couldn't be avoided if you kept the TV on during halftime, and strayed away after to crack open a beer with the boys.

That "show" is a business you know.
And how do you give a "fair" interview without ripping into Palin about promoting
abstinence as the only sex education and it failed on her own daughter.
Not really that good of an idea for Oprah, she either has to ignore all the negative
buzz during the interview and look like a phony or bring the issues up and look like
an attacker.

Honestly have a look at Obama's quotes only a year or so ago addressing Palestinian and Arab-American's regarding Jerusalem, peace, etc and than compare it to the line he promotes today. A President has some ability to push their agenda, but more or less that ability only remains, or comes to fruition, if the push the agenda that the powers that be (AIPAC and Zionists on this issue) decide on the issues they care about. Believe me Iran is a non-issue, because it is something the Zionist lobbies, etc aren't willing to budge on, and one way or another an attack on Iran will be sanctioned WHOEVER is President. You think the Zionists in the media and the lobbies hadn't sized up Obama long ago? And decided not to character assassinate him beyond return? As long as the GOP can convince inbred rednecks that the Dems want to take away their guns, force them to have abortina dn into agay marriage and turn them into atheists then they will vote for teh GOP even if it means allowing the GOP to enocurage companies to move jobs to China and allow what few jobs are left to find to either hire you for minimum wage or turn a blind eye to companies hiring illegals for $3 an hour.

It's true I won't be voting, but we follow the campaign every day on the news here too. Not more, not less than in the USA ( even in the French news!!).
