That is a good question. Last year someone sponsored a limo, but it turned out it was too big for the streets (and bridges) of Amsterdam.
The driver dropped me off somewhere with a local cab driver that proceeded to give me a tour of AMS in order to pad the bill. Ended up costing me about 30 Euro.
There is a train station not far from the hotel, so I am guessing the way to go is to take the train, then hoof it.Comment

I had planned the trip - even got my passport - but shit has come up and I highly doubt ill be making it. Been a couple years going since we met initially Ben - too long without a drink and conversation.

Not being a smartass, but whats wrong with walking out the airport, jumping in a cab, and arriving relaxed, right at the hotel?
Who cares if its ?30? Or even ?50 ???
Id much rather do that, than try to negotiate a train system in an unfamiliar country, just to save a measly few bucks?

I will half explain why though....
I have...
1) Just been appointed / Am in the process of being appointed / About to be appointed European representative of a rather large company, who are in part, financing my trip to the Dam,
and...
2) Another private individual, with a LOT of money (that I 'apparently' can spend on his behalf...
) who has a long term plan in this game, has also appointed me HIS representative...
So... Well... When you post 'I like poo' all over a board, and two seperate people approach you, throw money at you, and want you to represent their companies, and / or set up hosting details and licensing agreements on there behalf... Well... I guess its probably time to grow up !
Anyway, at 39 and a half years old, So... I really shouldn't be liking poo anymore... So.. Im 'weening' myself off gradually !
And, should I dare to ruin my 'rep'... The thing is... (Shhhhh...) If you meet me in person... You will see I am the EXACT OPPOSITE of my 'I like Poo' board persona !
But... Regarding the poo... Well... I still like it a bit though !
