my buddy has one of those thompsons. except his is a 357 and he has like a 14 inch barrel on his with a scope. uses it for deer hunting. shoots these long 357 maximum hollow point bullets. it's tough to shoot because you have to hold it at arms length in able to use the scope properly. but once you get the hang of it that gun is fun as hell to shoot.
