Im in Mich and have basic webmaster knowledge. I would like to advance my knowledge and get it documented with a certificate and or degree. Where is the best place to do this?
certificate aint worth the paper its printed on , go down to your local bookstore or head to google and find some info on photoshop , html dhtml, php/asp or any language you want
find some spare time read, read, read , practice what you read , and most of all experiement
LOL. today its all about experience, a piece of paper doesnt get you in apart from the university friendly big shots. i'd just learn yourself, design a project portfolio and hit the world

While junior college's (atleast the one here) actually offer certification in this (webmaster) and some other applications that most adult 'webmasters' already do as part of the gig...
I would say it's pointless, and you'd better spend your time, and money, learning it yourself. If you are insistant on pursueing the college thing for it. I'd say your money's better spent learning programming, and server applications.
But that's just my .
I never went to college for this. My degree's in something completely different. I started out as a hobby after college, and tada. Now do it full time. But I learned the old school... trial and error.
getting a degree in web development is not as valuable as a degree in other areas because your previous work is easily accessible with the internet.....just study your ass off and learn it yourself....that's what i'm doing
