It's totally obvious to me, as a woman, that Brooke was uncomfortable. But it looked to me more like she was just not accustomed to "public performance" type of situations, and any woman, even a fully clothed one, would feel vulnerable and nervous in that room with that DJ. I live in Tampa so I've heard him for a lot of years and he is a disgrace. I certainly did not see what Mayor's description in the original thread stated. I thought I would see rough pounding with Brooke crying and trying to get away, but clearly that's not the case.

Honestly, I would feel violated after being on that show, even if no one physcially touched me, so I understand how Brooke must have felt. Solo girls get treated like goddesses by members, and yes, sometimes a shitty email or im comes along, but its easy to delete or ignore those guys. This situation was a LOT different and it was likely the first time she had ever felt demeaned or reduced to an object.

However, with regard to her holding herself after the strap-on, well, she is holding herself when she first gets on the couch. She was pressured into trying, but not by Melissa. Expecting Melissa to protect Brooke is like me leaving my 2 and 4 year olds home alone with a big mean dog and expecting the 4yo to protect the baby from the dog when she's just a baby herself. Brooke is not Melissa's responsibility. Melissa is Melissa's responsibility. Even so, she still did appear to be concerned with Brooke's well-being..again, completely incongruent with the stickey'd thread.

And, you know, Brooke has been on the Bubba show several times before, if I remember correctly. She and her people should have known that Bubba is a pig. Melissa was clearly prepared, and Brooke was not, and that's odd, because, having been there on multiple occassions before, she should have been better prepared.

I don't believe Melissa did anything wrong.

I understand how Brooke would feel violated, but I believe she is misplacing her anger or hurt.

I understand why Mayor got irate; if someone hurt one of my loved ones, I'd be furious and I'd probably speak out in anger and say things without speaking.

All in all, this is an unfortunate event, but I don't feel that any of the people personally involved in this situation are to "blame". I just think the situation got out of hand. I truly believe this is more of an emotional pain issue than a physical pain issue.

As far as Bubba goes, he's a POS. No doubt about it.

Let this be a wake-up call for other women who choose to go on the show to be prepared to be degraded and bullied, or else stand up and demand to be treated differently. Don't allow him to make you a victim of anything from pressure to bad judgement.

If you have a girl considering the show, make sure she is prepared, and make sure you are in the room to keep her from agreeing to do something she doesn't want to so she doesn't look like the prude.

Make sure limits are set BEFORE the appearance is scheduled, with any other talent, and the DJs and producers themselves.

And seriously consider if you or your girl are strang enough mentally and emotionally to withstand the pressure the show brings.

If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch.

i watched part 4 i think where they do a variety of positions. brooke actually ended up on top and in total control. i think this is a clear case of her getting in over her head not saying anything about it and feeling upset afterwards. Mayors response was OTT in light of the video evidence but Im sure that Brooke must have been very upset afterwards to lead him to jump to such conclusions.

As an industry person, I was able to mentally set aside Bubba's constant verbal coercion of the girls to ram it home harder... I did not honestly believe that the girls were really fucking away hard and tearing pussies open, like Bubba wanted his listeners to think.

Although many listeners may have thought the girls were really going at it, I couldn't believe for a minute that the girls would willingly fuck eachother madly on Bubba's show, when they don't even do that on their own websites.

I have no doubt Brooke was upset and sore from the whole episode -- thus, I don't think Mayor Mike was unjustly causing drama here, rather just reacting to her being taken advantage of.

As the episode unfolded on the radio, I felt bad when I heard Brooke saying she was a trooper and willing to try the huge dildo. "What are you thinking!?!" I said.

From an industry standpoint, I thought it was not so smart to offer to do something on Bubba's show that you don't usually do on your own site.

Honestly, somebody should have been there to tell Brooke not to do it... since she didn't have the reserve to be able to say "no" on her own.

I would have if we had not been there other before, if brooke had not hung out with bubba AT HIS HOUSE and considered him a friend. Bubba always on air an off the air was good to brooke so we had NO indication. We were on great terms with the show, we even paid for their people to hang out at RedneckGetaway last month.

yeah i ended up reading that you have a relationship with bubba after commenting in a few of the other threads. he sold you out for shock ratings, thats the fucked up part. its bubbas show, what he says goes, etc etc. i'm cloudy on who said you couldn't film, melissa's people or bubbas. if it was melissa's crew that said you couldn't film, that would have voided the deal for me and i wouldn't have put the girls on the show. your previous relationship with bubba is where i feel you placed your confidence. i'm putting it on bubba for the most part. i was not there, but to me it sounds like one of his typical setups to make stuff happen that keeps his ratings up and controversy like this going.

No, Brooke wasn't asleep (as in the above scenario) but was she aware of what was going to happen or maybe she knew a strap-on was going to be used but was unaware of its' size? I can't answer that but to me, even if she did know it wouldn't matter.

Hell, it was a radio show and radio shows don't come with visuals so they could have used a pencil sized dildo (or one Brooke would have been comfortable with) and for the purpose of the radio show publicity - it wouldn't have mattered. Who chose the size of the dildo? Why did it have to be a large one? Why were other sizes not available? As for me, if someone threatened me with an ass whooping I'd say take your best shot and wouldn't lose any sleep over it but threaten my ablity to take care of my family and be in a position to do so - then that person's face is going to make it on the side of a milk carton with folk wondering whatever happend to _______ ...." is a reaction that pops into my mind for dealing with it. The point - we all perceive and react to threats differently.

Until the show is over and she could leave the room any implied threat would have remained valid and Brooke would have had to continue the charade. Continuing the interview after the event was over would be understandable.

Maybe I'm different, but if I really don't want to hurt somone - I don't do whatever it is they are concerned about. I feel that when the event continued on - that's where the line was crossed and you can start assigning the blame and everyone needs to hold out their cup to get their share of it.

The guy that robs a bank and accidentally drops the gun, it goes off and shoots a customer dead still gets brought up on murder charges. The fact that he "didn't mean to hurt anyone" and is otherwise a really a nice guy is irrelevant.
