They will tie it heavily into their Google free apps and then have you lock, stock and barrel. Why bother tracking a cookie when the browser can phone home to Google and tell them everything about what your looking at.

It is an Open Source browser..so I am sure that any possible nasties/privacy issues will be found out by some geeks who can understand the code.
Also it uses WebKit, so webpages should render well in Google's Chrome Browser if they render in Safari. Only thing is it has its own custom built Javascript engine, so any fancy JS may need to be tested.
However, I won't switch to it (in the near future) for development work, etc, unless it gets plugins like FireBug (ChromeBug? hehe) developed for it.Last edited by Lucky Bastard; 09-01-2008, 11:57 PM.Comment
