    Right now in L.A.

    There is an unnerving calmness. It's very eerie. Surreal almost.

    It's been dead ass quiet since about 3 AM. But right now at 8:00 AM, it seems even more quite.

    I've been editing all night, and in between cuts I hear nothing. Not even crickets or birds chirping.

    Weird.

                  Where abouts in NOHO do you live? I'm a few small streets east of Laurel between Victory and Oxnard. The 101 passes not to far from here I can usually hear it, but right now, there is nothing but the deafening sound of silence.

Usually tho by the time you notice its "earthquake weather" and there has not been an eartquake then there will not be one. Its mother natures way of keeping you on your toes..

                                                  Heh, yep. My Bank (wamu) is right there. My daughter used to go to daycare right over there. My sushi place was right on Riverside next to the Trader Joes, but they changed ownership and now it's just a shitty trendy spot.

                                                          Yamashiro. I one dropped 1K in that place just on Sashimi. It was right across the street from Koo koo roo, on the same side as TJ's.

                                                              Yamashiros sucks. Mediocre food at high prices.. most people feel the view makes it worth it. My friend has that same view from his living room. It gets old
