    Website that maps surnames worldwide

    A website which maps global surnames has been launched to help people find the origins of their name and how far it may have spread.

    The site covers a billion people in 26 countries, showing the origins of names and where families have scattered.

    Loads of Jarretts down under it would appear.
    The telephone directory in Jamaica also had many. Maybe I have roots from there?

                      Looks like country is the smallest area that is counted. Pity it's not more refined, like down to state level.

                          So what? Whats the relevance of a "Jarrett" anyway? I was stabbed in Jamaica by someone with the surname Jarrett. Next time i meet a Jarrett im gonna fucking punch their lights out.
