Those two obviously had a axe to grind against Georgia. I'm not a Fox news fan, but the girl and the aunt were more worried about pushing their political agenda vs just telling what happened.

Did you actually watch the video? She said Georgian troops NOT Russian troops (as Fox was insinuating) were bombing her city.

The story is that they have been interviewed 3 times before and all 3 times news stations edited their interviews to look like they were running away from Russians. This time they refused to do an interview unless it was live, and that why she wanted to bring her message out. Its not political agenda, but the truth of the event.

I don't see how FOX is owned. They conducted a live interview and asked questions. The respondents answered. Looks like an honest interview and the interviewees got their point across. -- The Georgians are the bad guys!

If what a previous poster said is true, then that should make FOX News look even more fair and balanced. Is it true that other networks edited their answers to make it look as if the Russians were the bad guys and that is the reason these ladies insisted on a live interview??

Just how is FOX owned? If they wanted to spread pro Georgia propaganda then it would have been really easy. I'm sure their live feeds still operate on some kind of feed delay in case they need to bleep out profane language. Therefore I am quite sure they could have cut away from their answers if their goal was not reporting the accurate feelings and opinions of these two people.

Remember, The TV new is just a TV show. They can say and spin anything they want.

Let's see just what is on FOX's lineup.

I'll start with evening time...

Britt Hume: Reports the news and then has usually three guest panelist. One or two will offer a differing opinion of which Brit only asks a question and then tries to get their opinion.

Shepherd Smith: Generally just reports the news. Lots of times with strange news going on in the world.

Bill O'Reilly: I know alot of people don't like him. He asks tough questions and he generally tries to have people from both sides of the argument on the show. If he asks you a yes or no question that is the answer he expects. Don't try and filibuster him. It amazes me that he has one of the most watched cable news shows at that hour and yet so many liberals will not go on his show to try and argue their point? Is it because they don't want to answer his questions? Or are they incompetent?

Hannity and Colmes: A two interviewer show with a liberal and a conservative. They tend to have a liberal guest for every conservative guest and they tend to get an equal time in questioning.

Greta Van Susteren: A publicity chasing hollywood loving hound. Usually no politics involved unless you think some kind of killer should get the death penalty.



Contrast that with some of the other cable news networks and I'm sure you could say that FOX really is the fair and balanced network.

On MSNBC in primetime we have Keith Olberman's Countdown... do you see a difference here?
