I used to work for VS and collect on stuff like this. Now, it could be fraud, or he might of done it. What I would do is research the ip address, check the email, check his passwords and call him up. If he was a dick i would be a bigger dick, threats of lawyers and talking to the wife and even collecting in person always did the trickI can resist everything except temptationComment

You left off about when he pulls his pistol out and shoots the guy with the bat in the left eye, which would be perfectly legal.Originally posted by NoCarrierYou just won the "Idiot of the Day Award"
Even if he is dumb enough to do what you are saying, you just killed his alibi by posting this on a public message board.
Congrats.

Here it's essentially illegal to defend yourself with deadly force ;)

you hit the nail on the head, i've learned that the hard wayOriginally posted by Pleasurepayswelcome to live chat... thats not about people ripping you off... its about your inexperience and your inability to quickly recognize, flag, refund, block and keep these people out of the system.

fraud measures, flagging suspicious activity & customer service are all CRITICAL in the live chat game112.020.756Comment

how do i get in touch with you btwOriginally posted by Pleasurepayshahah... you are not going to teach me anything about fraud prevention and control in live chat. "worth 20 minutes to type a letter..." you fucking dumbass... you say something like this because you are naive and don't know. besides, its been tried many times. companies have been formed specifically for this purpose. doesn't work, won't work. banks are not liable because of zero liability policies and will typically will not side against their own client and take the side of the porn site. police don't care. spending 6 hrs a day trying to scare the shit out of some russian kids in moscow or romanians in bucharest using stolen cards and proxies to chat with their girlfriends so they get the commissions is pretty pointless.
there is prevention and failure. any effort elsewhere is absolutely futile.

You're a fucking idiot. I have experience in both the cam industry and the credit card industry. What you're saying only hold true if this is a case of true fraud (stolen card, russian carders, etc).Originally posted by Pleasurepayshahah... you are not going to teach me anything about fraud prevention and control in live chat. My suggestion is based on the assumption that it's friendly fraud, meaning this guy legitimately signed up, enjoyed his time with the girls, and then charged back for whatever reason (his wife found out, he realized how much he really spent, etc).
And collection letters do work. I've sent many myself. Sure, very few respond, but it's worth the time for the ones who do send that check.

Once this asshole charged back and the excuse I got was that he did not have perrmission to use his mothers credit card, but I never saw his mothers name anywhere on my recieptsComment

dude.... i am not saying "it can't be done" and that it can't work in some rare instances. it is a fact that companies have been formed exactly for this purpose. to recover chargebacks in these exact situations. THEY ARE ALL GONE NOW BECAUSE ITS A SHITTY IDEA THAT RARELY WORKS.Originally posted by KrisKrossYou're a fucking idiot. I have experience in both the cam industry and the credit card industry. prevention is EVERYTHING. everything. period. no matter what you say and believe the bank has no obligation to refund the money under ANY circumstances. "zero liability" means "zero liability". the only chance is that the user can be scared into calling his bank and reversing it himself and if you think you have that much time to waste on something thats no going to pay off more than once in a great moon... then you are't very focused on traffic, more traffic, more sales and growth... because focusing on that shit is nothing more than a waste of time.Comment

Originally posted by BluMediaI am shocked what some of these people get away with. This guy spent 1,319.92 in live shows on VSCash and charged back every bit of it this month. He spent 179.99 seven times and then 59.99 once and charged back ever penny 2 1/2 months later.
It is possible that his credit card number was stolen.
Although, chances are it was by his 15 year old son.Comment

buaaahhhaaOriginally posted by notabookIt's hard as hell to get any money back because of there not being a tangible product involved... sighs. Best of luck though if you decide to try and get some money back, if you have his contact information I would try the old fashioned approach: Go to his house pretty early in the morning with a wooden baseball bat. Knock on the door (or ring the door bell, either way works). As soon as he answers (as long as you're sure it's him) smack him up a bit. Tell him he has a week to pay back the money for the 'free' shows, and tell him if he hasn't paid in a week that you'll see him again real soon. Then leave =) Make sure you have a solid alibi that night in case cops decide to pay you a visit ^_^ Even if you don't get any money back, you'll love beating the fuck out of that prick with a bat :D
nice plan, really funny post
I like the part about cops
