On DSL it is pretty quick ..and considering our connection has been slow the last couple of days - that's pretty good
Oh yeah - and I'm in OZ.

Why my IIS (Windows2000 Pro) can only accept 10 connections at the same time?

Answer:

This behavior is by design, because Windows 2000 Professional is not designed as commercial webserver. So the connection limit is set to 10, normally this should be enough to develop and test websites or for smaller websites. Unlimited connection are available with Windows 2000 Server and above.

Hey buddy,

Not good for me at all. I have DSL and it took about 15 seconds to load. That's really long. And 8 thumbnails didnt work

BTW nice layout.

ok, dropped iis and installed apache, can anyone please check now, btw yes i will move to real hosting, this is an emergency fix.

funkmaster: correct, my host dropped me without previous notice, now i'm looking for a dedicated server but in the meantime i had some tgp listings and i didn't want them to go all 404

what you need is:
- get rid of iis
- be connected to a fast network
- be hosted on fast reliable servers
- uptime guarantee
