Assuming that you did have an after school and/or summer job. I worked for a little bit at CVS drug store but then I moved to the job I had from when I was 16 until 19 which was working at a movie theater. That was actually a really nice job for that age. What did you do?

I worked for The Wiz, an electronics store in the NYC area, and i delivered pizza. Pizza was the best job ever. Free food and about 15 bucks an hour with tips cash. You feel like a king at 17 with that kinda money

in high school i was telemarketer. started when i was 15. was top salesman very often, outperformed even the managers at selling. was working on non hour based commission before my friends were even getting checks, realized by 17 that a person only had to work as hard as he wanted to.

I did some dog washing the summer before high school. Then in high school I made the dance/drill team and learned how to fundraise selling candy.
When I hit my goals for the team, I'd end up making my own money selling additional candy. I learned how easy a teen girl in a short skirt can make profit, and I didn't break any rules or compromise my own integrity.

Learned how to do modular housing foundations working with my dad when I was 13-15 during the summers. Turned 16 bought a truck with the money I saved and started my own business doing the same work for 10 local housing companies. I started off cooking at Sonic. Then I discovered that you could make money by having parties. We'd get kegs and sell cups at the door. If you were drinking and you didn't have a cup, you got booted out. The cops were a lot more mellow then than they are today. I wouldn't even think of doing that these days.
