    Attention: RRRED or someone with info about Webmasters4America

    Well, I won two of the auctions, and then I got the following email from RRRED:

    " Thank you so much for participating in the
    Webmasters
    4 America Auction. As much as we'd like to proceed
    with the payment process, we have run into a small
    problem.

    We are unable to process payments from Visa or
    MasterCard. Because of the high level of fraudulent
    organizations across the internet taking advantage
    of the recent tragedy on September 11th, the FTC
    requires us to be a licensed non profit organization, which
    we are not.

    The good news is that we CAN accept American Express
    AND checks. When payment is complete, we will help
    you get in contact with the organization that donated
    the item you purchased. Thank you for your patience and
    cooperation. Please follow the instructions on this
    page to proceed with payment.

    As you can see there are no instructions. I replied to that email, but it bounced. I would like to know what is happening with this auction, has anyone made payments/gotten their stuff?

    RRRED, I have ICQ'ed you but no answer yet. Please anyone with info, reply.

          Well I have an AMEX card and I would gladly use it if I get the info I need. But the email I got from RRRED was incomplete.

                      Hi Bruce - I'm in Langley. Wonder how many other BC'ers are on this board. I've seen a few posting, but not many. And yes, hopefully the payments will be sorted out soon - I really want my new content

This will take Amex only and you will find the address where you can send checks at the bottom of this page. I'm sorry the link got clipped off somehow in the forwarding when we sent it out

                              Thanks again everyone who participated. It was sooooo great to see everyone get together for such a great cause. As you know, the proceeds will be going to the American Red Cross... MarcDe's overly generous donation of 100K will be going to the Salvation Army.

                                  Hello everyone,

                                  I am also interested in the webmasters4america auction. We sold an item and was notified by mail that it had been sold, but we have heard nothing else. We have tried to reply to the email that we received, but it bounces back.

                                  Could someone from the Auction please contact us and let us know if the payment has been received and how to get in touch with the person who brought the item so that arrangements can be made.
