what do you do if some is not paying?

i really get the feeling that the people i am working with now, are not going to pay. not sure how long to wait to take actions. it a few hunderd dollar, s o i am not just letting it slip.

They said they would pay to as the job has been completed, then they had paypal problems and then it was solved but the guy that had to pay me was not online. the owner of the company was online but said i had to take it up with the other guy because they are paying him to hire the people. Seems that he normal pays, but now he doesn't after our second job. first time he paid in full upfront but the amount was much less. I had to bring drama to the so i won't for now. But what should do how long would you wait?

When I was a freelance web developer for the past 5 years. People who would outsource to me would always pull that crap. And I got screwed over a few times but learned from it. If they paid before they will most likey pay again. However start asking for 25% upfront, 25% for demo (if its graphics/photos, toss them a few pics as a demo) and 50% when the job is complete. Yeah, if you are doing paypal the fees can add up so I always add the 2.9%+$0.30 onto the over all price.

It's funny how the buyers always have paypal issues and I've never had a single one! Beware of people that want payment plans i.e. I'll pay you $50 today and the rest next monday. And also the people that are waiting for funds to clear. Yes, waiting for funds to clear is a legit reason so don't brush them off too quickly. But that is the most over used excuse

this is time it is a large mainstream company. it is just that people just go offline without telling where they went or what they have done to get you the money. But i will give some time. i hope he will just pay me. there is no good biz this way. and i need to pay my people. and i am sure that this client has money enough. lol

I worked in mainstream for a long time and getting payments half the time was like pulling teeth. But thats what I like about the adult biz. They pay you lightning fast. Everyone is so worried about getting called out, I guess. LOL kinda like ebay feedback drama

lets say if this would come out many people will think that they are broke and this a company that sells world wide. so if i was the boss i would do better my best to get the people that do the work paid.

or are you as company that outsource it to persone that then find the people not responsible? I think you are. i had contact with and his guy that find the right people for the job.

yeah that is also the part that i hate. normal you have the job done and they pay in the adult and here they are acting like they have an invoice that is due in a month. Plus the guy that contract the people works in the adult bizso he should know how things go. And i am sure he does.
