ATX & Comus - Licence Scammers

It has been brought to my attention that several users on GFY have been fraudulently selling 2nd hand ATX licences.

That is they take you money through epassporte and do not provide the licences.

Please before you buy any 2nd hand licence contact the people at ATX / Comus and or any others to verify the sellers details before you transfer money to anyone.

All in all I am out by $175 that took over a month of hard work to save and I just hope that by writing this thread I can save others from the heartache that has happened to me.

If anyone out there would like to help me out to get me back on track and donate a couple of spare dollars so I can get back to where I was my epassporte userid is: mattscotney

In addition if I can get back what I have lost that would be a bonus.

I guess you haven't realized what board you are on, I suggest you spend some time reading posts and get to know how this board works.

But seriously, if you want advice I'll drop the GFY attitude for a sec and give you some. You don't need ATX to be successful, if it takes you months to save to get it, you shouldn't be buying it in the first place. I would stick to submitting galleries till you know the biz enough that you can make the money to buy an ATX in less than a week.

Have you lost the plot? I am not trying to backdoor anyones product.

The only way to get ATX is to get it installed by the product developer, they allow licences to be transferred and they do the install. Maybe you should get the facts first and then you may have a clue.

It was the dude trying to sell the ATX licence that did the scamming he sold a product that he did not have a licence for.

In the event of a transfer the licence holder contacts the product developer and then the product developer transfers the licence to the new licence holder.

In fact Arrow Scripts (The product devloper) has been very helpful in this matter and has done nothing wrong what so ever.

The seller never had the software in the first place. He was not a software pirate he was simply a scammer.

Sorry to hear that you lost $175 but if it took you over a month to save I think you need to start with cheaper (ie free) scripts first. One of the advantages of the TGP game is that you can often get started with near zero outlay. Don't try to run before you can crawl...
