    Should I do my own site?

    I am not up with all of this computer stuff. I have done a lot of modeling for others but I am wondering if it is worth my time to pay somebody to make a site with me. I am bi-sexual and would be happy to do just about anything that is legal in the photos. With all the stuff out there how would people find me.
    Sorry if this seems stupid. I am new to all of this.

      Go get Dreamweaver. Building websites, has never been easier. If you can fill out the form to posta reply here, you can easily build your own site. Just study design and layout a little to see what's out there.

      Then market, and push your site until you're blue in the face.

      One way is too add your domain name in your signiture graphic. LOL

                          'Pam', you look like a very sweet girl, pretty too , I am sure you'll do just fine on your own "Amateur" site.

                          I do not know what you make when you do shoots with AM, but if he pays well, I wouldn't go through all the trouble of you own site. Think of all the hassle of chargebacks, administration, design, the same photoshoots etc..

                              Redshoe has some great suggestions. Get dreamweaver, and learn to built sites. You'll save tons of money and time if you can do it yourself. There are lots of people here that are willing to help with developement questions if you run into problems.

                              One way to get a bunch traffic to your new site would be to offer your photos in trade for traffic. I've done this deal with more then a few models in the past and it's always worked out well.

She asked me about it during our shoot yesterday and I told her that I have never run a sucessful paysite and to ask around. She also mentioned that she was going to do this with another local photographer. That was about a year ago and he never paid her a dime.

The good news is that there are about 2 million webmaster resource sites/communities, so you can actually pick this shit up fast.

                                                                                                  Photographers take pictures, webmasters run sites. It is not a good idea to confuse those two jobs.

At least a paysite one, because most probably you'll end up having few free trials per month from which a 10% will stay for the whole month. What I suggest now. Make a deal with some sponsors and run a live cam show for their paysites. It will be much more profitable and it won't cost you. Yesterday I checked Aaron's work and it's very good. You're on good hands. Through time we see girls that started their own paysites and see hits only from their friends that have supplied them free passwords!
