organic... nearly all of the banana plants are clones of each other and are quite suseptibile to a killer fungus. plantation owners heavly spray the banana trees to kill the fungus. these chemicals seep into the fruit.
i try to eat organic bananas whenever possible. they are not sprayed in the above manor!
