    iframe ads...is there an advantage?

I'm just catching on to some sponsors with iframe ads and not quite getting it.

What is the advantage say over just a regular ad?

Do they rotate? I guess that would answer my question.

That's a good academic read on the issue.

Good points in there. I was aware of those points but I was thinking
more along the lines of any direct advantage in signups.

google doesnt spider the contents usually in iframes and when they do, they dont show the results from the host page. This enables sponsors to hide all of their referraling urls.

LOL... This is the perfect answer to most questions here.
