    GEOIP in FLASH and OR MOVIES?

    possible ?
    I'm sure flash can be done but think it is possible to geo target in a wmv or the like?

    Flash is possible infact it's been done.

    Everything is possible so I won't say doing it to a WMV isn't but it's not likey wouldn't you have to watermark it with the geo location then encode it and output. So yeah it's possible if the surfer wants to wait awhile.

      You can do that in WMV, but bit more complex (you cant add text on the video in real time)

        hmm interesting...

        atleast i am hearing it is possible so i shall not give up!

        I figured as much flash was doable as it can read stuff in real time or whatever

          At a high leve here is how you do it

          1. Create WMV targeting each range of GeoIP (Lets say you have one video per country for example)
          2. Then write a WMS ASX that gives out the correct video based on the IP
