Uk - Big Brother (again)

Anyone see it tonight ?

Seemd like a bit of a fix with the new housemate. Out of all the apparent 'random' people in the UK, the golden ticket winner was a stand in on Big Bro 5, paid over £4000 for the ticket which is meant to only give you the 100/1 chance of going in at all, which is rather risky at 4 grand, and the dress and shoes they had for her seemed to be a perfect fit.

Was I watching a different program then you guys??? They had the balls spinning around, and it was only a 1 in 34 chance. I don't think it was fixed, but then again.... I live in the USA, so what the hell do I know?

I agree that it is very 'lucky' that a woman who has been a stand in since BB3 gets a ticket at all (even if her husband paid for it) and secondly that she was then the random ball out.

no it has nothing to do with her paying for it..it is that she was well known to the big brother producers..maybe we are wrong and it was just lucky but it seems odd

It would have been good to see the other balls just to confirm it was in no way rigged. But then didn't a ball escape when the daft bint left the hatch open? Surely they could easily have glanced at the escaped ball and known for sure if it was rigged or not or possibly even seen the numbers in the ball before the machine started juggling them?

Oh and another vote for Pete. I want a Pete for a pet. He'd be fun to have around the house

Peter is cool. Glyn is growing on me just because he is the smartest there but they all treat him as if he is dumb. He is just a nerd from Wales. He does annoy me when he moans about too many Londoners in the house, etc but hey that is nationalism for you.

Living in Cardiff for a while sort of put me off Welsh people a bit so I can't bring myself to like Glyn as much as I should. The one that probably annoys me the most is the dumb blonde - Nikki. That said all of the 'plastics' as the gay dude calls them are a tad annoying.

This one has rocked, although I liked the UK season where they put the bars up inbetween the house and made a poor/rich side... that was brutal. So far this season 2 People walked. 1 was kicked out. 1 got 92% of the vote and was booed really loudly when evicted. And we're only like 20 days into it.

But lots of them were known to the producers, having entered on previous occasions. The odds were that the person randomly chosen would have entered before or paid for their ticket, so it's no surprise that that happened.

Big brother is not evil enough this year. The year with the bars was the first one I really got into and the nearest to an actual social study as any of them have become because they hadn't done any tricks like that before so it was totally unexpected by the housemates. The secret room two seasons ago was the only thing close.

I dont think it was a fix. BB budgets must run into 10's of millions so having clothing for numerous sizes available is only petty cash for them (it's called good planning!!)

And not wanting to hijack this thread, but if anyone wants to earn a few $$$ from BB we have got Aisleyne on www.onlytease.com - and have lots of banners and FHGs for her.

I must admit because of Aisleyne and Nikki (who we had booked but cancelled on the day of the shoot in April when she found she was in the house and told to cancel all shoots) have found it really entertaining and good fun
