The only way to properly close a spamming account is to not accept the traffic. Return a boilerplate "This account has been closed for spamming" message with NO links or any other monetisation.
why should he worry about residual traffic? the affiliate broke all reasonable industry standard tos by spamming his affiliate link, the affiliate deserves nothing, and it is likely there is no traffic anymore anyways, but even if there was there should be no problem with the sponsor getting that traffic
