its gonna be a close one this time round, spain have got some great talent coming through, first world cup for torres and david villa. Argentina, similarly, leo messi, tevez. Brazil everyone knows they are good, but rarely win in europe when fancied strongly (5/2 favourites to win outright). England, over-rated by most and under-rated by some. They have one of the strongest squads in the tournament and are only really let down by forwards and left back ashley cole, who if there was any decent cover wouldnt be in baden-baden. Italy, to me, dont look strong at all, their big hope is a guy who scored the most domestic goals since 58, although was playin in serie c2 6 years ago and has no experience under this pressure. Portugal, great team, lacks depth, dark horses imo. France, looked rubbish last night, ive ruled them out. Holland - got to be given a chance, although their squad seems to be a little on the inexperienced side, considering all the in-fighting that usually ruins them, this is probably a good thing. Germany, dogged, no chance on paper but then did they last world cup when they were beaten finalists.
My dark horses of the tournie are czechs, their midfield is class and have a good balance up front if baros is fit
and spain.
The only thing i have my hard earned on is shevchenko ew to be top scorer. Two weak teams in the group and is an out and out goalscorer and class at that. focal point of the team and 20-1 is tooo big. Although i would usually look for someone likely to go further in the tournie, no one else stands out

The English can beat any team in the world on the day and have an incredible midfield in Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard and Beckham..all of which can boss the centre of the park and score. So many goals in this English team.
My outside bet must be the Czechs who look a great price to progress with Italy. Good luck to the U.S though...it will be hard for you to qualify with these two teams.
