    Magazines are gay.

We, the adult webmasters screwing the consumer?
I don't think so. Atleast the sites I promote usually deliver what they promise and very little upsells etc.

However, I'm slightly pissed off. I bought a golf-magazine today.
Inbetween the pages were 11 flyers that dropped on my bathroom floor as I started to read it, 8 more were fixed in. On page 36 was the first 'story' everything before that were ads, there is literally more ad-pages than actual content...and I paid 7 euros for it. So many ads, unreal. I'd understand it if the magazine were free, but why would I continue to pay like 7 euros per magazine to read 150 pages of ads and 50 pages of stories? I'll start to read the magazines at the stores from now on.
    ..and I'm off.

I do the same for a long time already. It's a waste of money if you need more time finding the magazine content than reading it.

I love magazines. My favourite are In Touch, Life& Style and People.
Something about tabloids, and celeb gossip magazines, I just can't get enough.

luckily dutch magazines arent that bad.. try US mags, i once got this XXL magazine and there were interfalls of 10 pages or more full with ads, throughout the whole magazine... Most worthless magazine ive ever seen with 90% (im not exagerating) advertisements.

Most magazines are about 30% ads if not more. Used to be a lot less. Kind of makes you think if they are selling so much ad space why do they need to charge over $5 for one?

It's not winter all year round here.
We have pretty decent courses here, and I'm happily a member of a few.
