Hard question to answer, but that comes close.

As for content. You could buy all the content or subscribe to a portal that charges by the month. They go from around $100/mo up. Maybe some cheap $49/mo to start? The way they work is you get X amount of bandwidth a month then they charge per gigabyte after that. The charge per gigabyte can be $2 or $6 or what ever depending on the niche, quality and how much you started with.

Don't forget you need to process credit cards and there is that $750 Visa fee.
Add the percentage to the processor and the credit card company when you figure how to price your site. Go to these sites and read how they charge.

Then you have to promote the site. Do that all by yourself or have affiliates. Another one of those big varibles.

Biggest problem I see is cost control. You can figure a budget and launch. Then you can be hit with a big bandwidth bill as passwords are hacked and all your content is downloaded multiple times over. Fraud is a big issue!Another risk you take is on those portals. That cost per gigabyte could add up fast if all your members take an hour to cum watching video.

As for paysites, I'm a noob. Looking to make the step and these are the things I ran into or am thinking about. There are ways to limit your exposure. Break videos up into smaller scenes etc.
