someone knows their shit eh! although i prefer tacquiera cancun for burritos, ~16th & mission- WOW!
also, the museum of modern art is a great spot and the W hotel is right there for drinks.
head over to sausalito and check out the view back to the city, sometimes the fog is lower than the bridge tops and you can look down on that.
that drive past ocean beach and through the presidio that goes onto the gg bridge is a great one.

for the best chinese food ever go to the house of nan king on columbus / kearny
right up the street you can check out the stinking rose (garlic restaurant)
get a good little burger, fries & a beer from reds java house on the embarcadero (they also have awesome fish & chips)
for a good steak joint check out the palace steak house on mission / army (cesar chavez st) the owner moe has been cooking the steaks there ever since i was a kid... surprised he's not dead yet. check your steak for his beard hairs (haha jk) - the steak sandwich is very good
check out 24th and mission (you can take bart) & hit up the san jose taqueria... get a super burrito
then walk across the street to diandas, its an italian pastry shop that makes some of the best friggin rum cakes on the planet... they have good single serving slices you can share w/ friends... they also have rum balls which are so good
-- by the way these are all pretty much hole in the wall joints, GREAT food & good prices --
for bars i'd check out the red room, matrix on filmore, buncha bars on mission... you'll have to feel it out and ask other people whats good
broadway is kind of ghetto on fri/sat but there are a lot of cops walking the beat so not much to worry about - worth checking out this area on fri or sat night because there are a bunch of strip clubs within a few blocks from each other (hustler club, showgirls, roaring 20s, centerfolds, etc)
have fun
