    How much for editing video?

    How much do you charge for editing an entire shoot? I am trying to get an idea how much this usually goes for. also how much for spliting the shoot into different formats and how much for shooting in HD? Thanks for your help.

          If by "entire shoot" you man one scene, and assuming 2 basic formats (.wmv and .mpeg), and if the video only requires simple editing, a layover graphic or text url (for branding of you site/domain), most places I know of would charge $200.00 to $250.00 depending on how fast you needed it done.

              i've been teaching myself how to use Sony Vegas and adobe premiere pro, bought a few books off eBay to read as well.

              video editing is some crazy and tedious shit. I find it really fun though, I hope to learn enough to start doing basic editing work for ppl. ;]
