A couple of weeks ago I met a guy I knew from way back. He has moved here to shoot music videos. He was with his partners one of who is a punk and heavily tattooed and pierced. He was with his girl friend. The person I knew asked about Eva and it was at the time we did not know she would pull through so I told them and they were all very sympathetic.

So the point is I made a joke about the punk and his girlfriend needing to find a new tattoo and piercing place if they had anywhere left to tattoo and pierce. They took offense and walked off. Why the fuck do you get to look like a freak if you can't stand someone making a joke of it?

Low self esteem I reckon. Which is why I think a lot of these people need to do all this. They don't think they are good enough without it.
