    I knew I shouldnt have got up today.

    Its the 666 and my name is (was) Damian. I should have listened to my intuition.

    My Dr called me at home and said I should come str8 in. The results of a liver ultrasound I had have come back - and basicly I am fucked. The years of abusing myself have taken thier toll. Although the liver can repair itself, they think mine has gone beyond that - I see a specialist next week and they will do some more tests to confirm it.

    My GP is already talking about the possibily of a transplant - but I think I will refuse - I couldnt go through that - and I dont think its fair - I bought it on myself.

    I have just opened a bottle of wine - one more cant hurt - and I have never needed a drink more in my life.

    Beware all you youngsters on here - It could happen to you.

                  You're right about one thing, you brought it on yourself. Personally, I think people like you should be barred from organ transplants period. Save them for people who deserve them.

                      There is still a chance it wont come to that - but I dont think it would have even been mentioned if she didnt think it was at least a 'strong possibility'.

                      Its so fucking weird - I had all sorts of plans - improve my Spanish, move to Costa Rica, set up my own small prog - now what the fuck do I do?

                                      Yeah - its just got to sink in - I have been drinking for 20+ years - another few hours isnt going to make a massive difference.

                                      I use drink to cope when I am stressed - always have - its ironic that it will be the thing that will stress me the most in the end.
